home our mission our team eastside team westside team statement of purpose services eastside services westside services gallery east side house team west side house team testimonials news contact home our mission our team eastside team westside team statement of purpose services eastside services westside services gallery east side house team west side house team testimonials news contact 0750 4561288 [email protected] take the right turn in life. t-junction has two small, independent children’s homes each offering placements for up to three young people aged between 7- 18 years who would benefit from living in a small group environment. learn more... t-junction children's services t-junction consists of two small children’s homes on the outskirts of leicester, each offering placements for up to three children and young people, aged between seven and eighteen years. one of our homes is named eastside and specialises in the care of younger children who have suffered sexual abuse. the other is named westside and offers accommodation primarily for adolescents who have suffered significant trauma or neglect in their early years and are unlikely to manage the demands of foster family dynamics. our homes are comfortable and welcoming places with soft sofas and squishy cushions, clean kitchens, and good smells of baking. a safe haven and secure base for every child and young person who live there. a place with spaces to have fun – and also to have those quieter times. our homes are designed to give children and young people the privacy of their own bedroom, decorated in a way that appeals to them in areas where other families live, near parks and shops, with places to ride bikes and play games – and make friends. t-junction was set up in 2017 by tim clare, who was himself in care, and who has a powerful vision of what children need to feel good about themselves in a care home. he was supported by cydeena bonnner (rm) who was a foster carer for 15 years before entering the residential sector. - alfie said he loved the team, home, and young people very much! i can not fault the staff. they have done everything in their power for this young person. i have seen him have excellent relationships with the staff and they have shown they have with him by how they all respond to each other. this has been a fantastic placement for all involved. thank you allocated social worker for a young person placed with t-junction - thank you hi tim, it was lovely to meet you and the team yesterday and to have a look around the home. it looks like you’ve hit the ground running and have dedicated staff who are passionate about positive outcomes for the young people in your care. commissioner – nottinghamshire - thanks tim, you will be a huge loss to the vs no doubt! you have been fantastic to work with … colleague - thanks … you were so good with all my children in care, i can only hope that whoever takes over the job is half as good as you!! you have been a shining example for kids in care as you have proved that it is possible to achieve your dreams and not to become part of the failure statistics. colleague - thank you tim i just wanted to say thank you for your contribution to the service.
